Four generations later , I am proud to remember your legacy. You created a family that followed your footsteps in law enforcement to this day.

While no suspects were ever identified and therefore brought to justice they surely faced a higher justice at a later time. No passage of time will ever erase your memory, service and sacrifice. Rest in peace always.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Special Agent Lynch, today marks the 86th anniversary of your murder while doing your job. You took on an unpopular law and no matter how you personally may have felt about it; it was the law and your job to enforce it. It’s sad that it cost you your life and took you from those who loved you. We can only hope that those responsible faced true justice for their crimes, if not in this life, then in the next. YOU are a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

I had heard family folklore about this incident, but
had no idea about the date. I thought he was the
sheriff of the county that contains Gainsboro. Any
details anyone could share about this would be greatly appreciated.
