Mikey it's almost quail hunting season, I bet there's plenty of quail in Heaven. Ryan has so many of your qualities from shewing on the ring around the drink bottle to not knowing how to tell time. We miss you and Todd but never forgotten. Not a day goes by without thinking about you. Things and life are so different these days. Love you forever.

Remembering you today Trooper Chappell. I did not know you and was only an explorer for the SCHP at the time of your death but I attended your service with Troopers from Charleston. My first of unfortunately many over the past 25 years. Thoughts and prayers to the Chappell family, friends and coworkers.

uncle mike i miss you. today im sitting down writting my paper for criminal justice class and my topic is DEA. i don't know why but i decided to pull up this page and started to look through the K-9 deaths and the dogs made me think of you. i wish you were here to talk to me because i need your guidence on a lot of stuff. i know that you're watching over me and matt and ryan, you and todd. i just hope that there was a way for me to know dogs as well as you. it would really help me with the division of law enforcement that i wish to be a part of. i love you and mom and todd. i only hope that i can be half the police officer that you are. you set the bar pretty high, my goal is to go over that bar and make everyone proud of me like they are of you, uncle bo, and uncle jimmy. i love you uncle mike and i miss you everyday. please the only thing i ask for is that you could guide me to be the best K-9 officer this family and county has ever seen and i know that you have my back. well back to homework, need to make this project excellent. from one dog trainer to another, ich liebe dich.

Hi brother, it's a beautiful spring day in April and you are in heaven with god... your beautiful son has joined you and we all feel the sadness. My Kt wrote a paper on your anniverisary this month for her criminal justice class, it kinda seems like she will follow in your foot steps and I'm so scared for her but very proud to that she wants to be an officer, I know you will watch over her but it is still a scary thing for a mom to know this is the path her little girl wants to take. I feel peace with it though cause I know whatever is meant to be will be we can not change fate. I miss you Mike, tell mom I love her.

I can't believe it'll soon be 16 years since God took you home. I miss you so much and so does the boys. Ryan's girlfriend took the picture of you and the hunting dogs and had him a blanket made with your picture. It's so cool. Ryan has you near by every night. You would be very proud of the young men you sons have become. I'll love you forever.

Mikey:
It'll soon be fall your favorite time of the year. I hope there's plenty of dove and quail in heaven for you to hunt.
The boys and I miss you and how they each have a part of you. In looks and ways. There's not a day that goes by that
you are not remembered. A friend of Ryan's gave him a dog like Zack, his name is Houston and I often call him Zack.
He's not trained like Zack was and it has Ryan flustered.
We love you.

Mike, tomorrow will be 15 years since the horrible words were spoken "Mike didn't make it". Alot has happened in these 15 years, your boys have gown up, your are a step grandpa. Todd married Susan Kirven on Feb 20, 2010, I carried a white rose for you during the service so everyone would know you were there. Susan has a 10 year old, Brendan who loves Todd and he likes sports. Ryan is still looking to find himself and misses you. No a day goes by that we know think of you and the good times we had together as a family. I love you and miss you. Oh, Bo is the chief of police of Turbeville.
