Spent the night a time or two at the home on Jansen Pl. with Bob, my classmate at St James. On Good Friday, I was spending the night at my aunts as my mom was in the hospital. The news came on with a Special Report announcing the shooting. I remember it like it was yesterday. 1968 was a tough year. Bob lost his dad and in November I lost my mom. I went away to boarding school and we lost touch. NEVER FORGET
Would love to get in touch again

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 44th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
