I was born in Crystal Springs, MS.
an after attending Miss. State, I served for 20 years in the US Air Force. I have traveled frequently on HWY 49 from Florida enroute to Crystal Springs. There has not been a time that I look at the memorial sign in Collins and not wonder about trooperLangham, his family and the tragic loss of his life. The brutality and cowardice of this senseless crime needs to be punished with everything that the law allows. The parole board needs to demonstrate courage in denying this parole.

The time has come again that we have to have "No Parole" letters sent to the Parole Board to make sure one of my grandfather's murderers does not get parole. Inmate Montgomery is up for parole again. Please stand with our family and send your letters to make sure such an evil man isn't allowed to walk the streets as a free man, while my grandfather never got the option. I never got the chance to meet him because of this man and the others decision to take his life away. As always, our family appreciates all of your love and support!

Please, do not let this person be released under any circumstances. Our men and women and fighting a war everyday on our streets in America to keep us safe. If an American solider were killed by terrorists on American Streets we would seek the death penalty and a country would be outraged. Our Soliders in blue and green deserve the same respect.

Do what is right. Deny parole

A second "No parole" letter has been sent, so your cowardly killer (Inmate Fairley) remains locked up - and denied the pleasure of living in a world that you made safe for all of us.

There was only 4. One died of cancer in prison, one was given patrol for turning States evidence and hopefully the other 2 will die in prison.

It demonstrates what a truly disgusting state our society is in when someone who murders a Peace Officer would EVER be eligible for parole.

May all 5 of the perpetrators die in prison.

Billy Langham gave his life for the safety of others, a hero among the masses.
His killers gathered support from advocates all around the world, some traveling to their trials from the UK in support of them. Through books, letters and media they were asking the public to consider them heros as well. Writers made marters of them and those without true facts made them victims rather than killers. They called them "great, wonderful, intelligent and even innocent".
Through continued support of keeping those currently in prison as prisoners rather than heros we can honor Billy Langham. Though his life already stands as a testiment to the wonderful man he was it is up to us to keep forever fresh on the minds of those who may favor the criminal over the true hero that he was the ONLY victim of that fateful day in 1981.
A hero is a man of honor, dignity, compassion, kindness and care. Billy Langham was a man with all those traits and so much more. We miss him today as he forever lives in the hearts of all who knew him.
Rest in Peace Uncle Billy and know that we will continue to fight to keep those who deserve to be in prison imprisoned.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind words and for sending the "No Parole" letters. We really appreciate everything that you have done. I will keep you posted on the outcome of this "persons" parole meeting. We have another of my fathers killers coming up this year as well. We will keep you posted as to when that will be and would appreciate letters sent for that "person" as well. I am also sending "No Parole" letters for other victims, we cannot let these people back on the streets! The ones (4 of them) that killed my dad were all on parole at the time for previous murder, rape, drug charges, etc...!

I grew up next door to Billy's Mother; his niece is still my most cherished friend and Billy's sister was like a second Mother to me. I know what a tremendous loss he was to his whole family and still is. But I also know that he watches over and protects still. I retired after 26 years in law enforcement and often I thought of Billy while on the job. Maybe those thoughts were him watching over me... I like that thought. God Bless all of his family.
