Daddy, it has been such a long time since you were physically here with us, but I know your spirit is with us. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you! I was 7 when you died and after all these years I am not able to figure out if I have memories of you or just the memories others have shared with me. I think of you every time I talk to my son...your name sake Robert M Martin. He followed you and his Dad into police work. I worry about them everyday, but I know they have the most AWESOME guardian angel! Keep them safe Daddy and know that I Love you with my whole heart! ❤️ Pam

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 47th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I miss you Daddy! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I was only 13 years old when this happened but I do still have memories of the short time that we had as a family. I'm sure you and Mom are having a great time in heaven!!! Miss and Love you both more then I could ever explain. Debbie

To the family and friends of this brave officer. I have just completed the new web site for the Fraternal Order of Police Newark Lodge#12 and would like to take a moment to thank all of these men for giving me one of the most spiritual experiences in my life. I felt that each and every one of these officers were at my side guiding me to the completion of the sites "In Memory Of..." page. God Bless and Thank You!
