This coming November 2013, while visiting in Florida, I will meet and share my personal condolences with Det. LaMonica's daughter, Renee.

Her father's memory remains with us. His heroic deed, the full measure of devotion, a brave act in the finest tradition of the job, also remains as a forthwight example for each member of the Department. God's speed, Detective LaMonica, may God have mercy on your soul, and the souls of all the faithfully departed. May they rest in peace. Amen.
