Reflections for Officer James A. Krupp

Jimmie, my oldest brother, has never been forgotten for a day. Though only 4 years older, he was a maturity in my live missing in our father. Although only seeing Brenda once in the ensuing years, I recognize all 3 of the kids most have a terrible hole in their hearts even today. I still miss you all, and to one of the finest brothers possible.....fair winds and following seas, Jimmy.

I never stop thinking about you, dad and I would give anything to just talk to you and tell you how deeply I have missed you every day of my life. I know what an amazing man you were, and my life is the emptier because you were not in it. What you would have meant to David and Douglas, to have their father in this life! The short but vivid memories I have of you when I was little are cherished and a part of who I am today. I see you in my children, and in my nephew, and the fact that you never got to see them grow up, or me for that matter, is just heartbreaking. I'm sorry I'm unable to reflect upon your absence in a different light, but I would be lying if I tried. Maybe when I'm (even) older? Love you forever.
