Thank you for the kind words regarding my Great Grandfather. He Passed a long time ago and it is nice to see that he is remembered. Through the internet I have found articles that tell me more about him. He was well liked in his department for his upbeat friendly demeanor. Thank you Officers for your service.

Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 62nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer, 58 years after you were killed.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
