Being my great-great-grand uncle and as I currently have been living in Wright County all my life it shows great honor to be related to someone who was one of the longest serving Sheriffs in Wright County. I've heard stories from relatives about you but never met you and I personally would have like to have had that opportunity. Though your death was tragic you still to this day almost 70 Years later your still not forgotten in my family.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 62nd anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Even after 50 years, I still hear tales from people of the Howard Lake community of what a wonderful man Sheriff Paul Kritzeck was. Although I bornafter he was killed, I am proud he is my Grandfather, and I feel like I know him though the stories from others.
