Reflections for Police Officer Neil Krantz

Your heroism and service is honored today on the 61rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I was doing a Google search for the Flint Police Department and came across Officer Neil Krantz's picture and the related story of his family's reflections on his death 50 years later in 2001. I visit this site regularly and if it is at all possible, I try to include pictures of fallen officers. I lived in Flint, MI from 1971 to 1984 and for the last seven years I lived only three blocks from where Officer Krantz was killed. Officer Krantz, thank you for your service to Flint.
