I knew Chief Knick as ‘Daddy’.
I was 15 years old when he was killed.
That day Mama went to work and my brother and I went to school never thinking that afternoon our lives would change forever.
Mama has passed on now but she never got over her ‘first’ love.
He was a good parent and husband.
Daddy was our hero and will never be forgotten!
Rest In Peace Daddy

Brother Knick,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue
