I was a Muskegon County Sheriff's Deputy at the time . Scott's Father was a music instructor of mine in High School. This hit way too close to home for me. Rest in peace Scott. You will always be remembered.

Dear Flake, I'm teaching a woman's self defense class tomorrow. I was thinking of that time when you snuck into the backseat of my car and I was a mile and a half away from work before I saw you in my rearview mirror. I'm a yellow belt now and on my way to black. I think you'd be proud and that made me happy. I still miss you and of course still love you.
