We lost a good and brave man on this date 85 years ago. When your murderer was executed, we lost nothing but gained justice.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 79th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Albert was my grandmother's cousin. I came across this page after I saw on the 1930 census that he was listed as a police office in Greenfield. I grew up in Turners Falls, and I had heard that I had a relative who had been killed as an officer in Greenfield. I honor his memory and am grateful to him and all those who put their lives on the line to protect and serve.

Patrolman Jordan,
On today, the 75th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Greenfield. It's nice to know that one time, the state of Massachusetts knew how to deal with Cop killers.

Thank you for your service to Greenfield. If it were not for you, that armed robber may have escaped prosecution. You put a stop to his string of robberies and paid the ultimate price. A true testament to the character of Greenfield. I know that everyone over on Main St. (and now High St.) remembers what you did.

Thankful Greenfield Resident

You showed true courage in disarming that scum. How sad he couldn't have just given up, then you both wouldn't have died so soon before your times.

You are a hero and have not been forgotten. God Bless and Rest in Peace.
