Deputy Sheriff Samuel Jenkins:
It is so sad that the name of Kid Curry is so known. It is your name Deputy Sheriff Samuel Jenkins that should be known. You are a hero and a man to be looked up to. May you rest in peace and thank you and your family for the ultimate sacrifice. WE are a better people today because you walked among us yesterday.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Depending upon whom one talks to, Kid Curry may have actually been the nastiest of all, making Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, appear to be choirboys. Some historians claim that Kid Curry was responsible for the deaths of as many as nine law enforcement officers.

It is unfortunate that those demons' names are remembered when heroes such as Deputy Jenkins, is forgotten by most.

May Deputy Jenkins' Soul Rest - In - Peace.
