Great uncle Bert, my mom, your niece Carolyn passed a week ago today. I was searching the Internet for her name and was so happy to see your name next to hers. She lost 5 of her immediate family, including you, in a very short period of time. She spoke so well of you and always kept a soft spot on her heart for you. Please find her in heaven and help her to reunite with our family in the afterlife. I love you great uncle. You make us all proud! Kelly - great niece

Policeman Huseman - What a tragic loss, for what seems like a trivial matter. Thanks for your service to the people of Los Angeles - I am sorry it took you away from your wife and children. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

We are the LAPD ! We do not leave any Men or Women behind, and we do not forget any LAPD Brother or Sister, who may have fallen in the line – of – duty.

"Shootin' Newton" has changed immensely since the 1940's, but the sadnesss surrounding the loss of one of ours during any decade, will never change.

PM Huseman, may Your Soul Rest-In-Peace.
