Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Rudolph F. Howell

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 62nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect. Your memory will always be remembered and revered.

Rest In Peace

Though you died before I was born, you are always remembered. I am honored to have your photo with fellow officers in my living room. How I would have loved to meet you in person. It was so tragic that you had to pass away. I attended the ND Peace Officer's Memorial dedication some years back and was honored to represent the family. It was very touching and memorable. Thanks to your grand daughter, you are also honored at the National Memorial as well. You passed on your dedication to serve to both Bob and I. Bob retired after over 30 years in law enforcement. I have been at it for 22 years and am honored to follow in your footsteps. I know that you are looking down on me, your famiy, and other officers as well. Please watch over us, until we meet in heaven! Love, Your Grandson, Don
