Rest in Peace Trooper Darvin K. Hogg. Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice Protecting the citizens of The Great State of Texas.

I Pray for Peace for your Family, Friends and Co-Workers. I also Pray that the scum that murdered you shall forever be pursued by the hounds of hell. May the flames of hell forever scorch his soul.

Amen.

I will never understand how a cop killer can have his death sentence commuted to life. Especially one who is already a triple murderer! He will always be a threat to society as long as he is allowed to take a breath! He is a threat to the corrections officers and other inmates. His death will not be untimely!

Your heroism and service is honored today on the 46th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was shot twice when ambushed on April 23rd when he was on a foot pursuit of two bank robbers.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Trooper Hogg - you are well remembered by the people you served. I followed you into the Nixon area 4 years after your death. I now serve as County Sheriff. You placed yourself in harms way to protect those you served. They remember and are greatful.

May you rest in peace,

I'VE HEARD IT SAID: YOU'RE NEVER DEAD AS LONG AS YOU ARE REMEMBERED. I NEVER MET PATROLMAN HOGG, BUT OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT CAREERS STARTED VERY CLOSE TOGETHER. HE STILL COMES TO MIND EVERYTIME I HEAR THE SONG MONDAY, MONDAY. IT WAS A TRULY SAD MONDAY THAT I CAN STILL RECALL VERY WELL. I'M SURE HE IS IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE. MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY.

Trooper Hogg,
On today, the 40th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Texas. It took six more years, but the piece of scum who murdered you, finally got the justice he deserved.
