Hard to believe a young man so dedicated to his job as you were Officer Henderson, could lose their life as a rookie but these are the risks associated with the position. Your courage will not be forgotten. It's a crime even over one hundred years ago, how your killer was found innocent and set free. Rest in peace Officer Henderson.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 101rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered. I am sorry that you and your family were denied justice in this world, but your killer ultimately had to answer to God.

Rest In Peace

Officer Henderson,
On today, the 98th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Jacksonville. Like one of the other persons who left a reflection-it saddens me also that your murderer did not get the justice that he deserved.
