It's almost the 17th and I am remembering our wedding day. The world was good and we had each other. Like you said, it's not every bride who gets the Chicago River dyed green on a wedding day. You gave me so much love and joy and St. Patrick's Day will always be so special. I love and miss you very much but the time we did have together was wonderful. Thank you for the love we shared and for the kids you gave me. Because of them a part of you will always be here with us.

Another year has passed but no matter how long you've been gone you still hold my heart, soul, and love. Many people never know love in their lives but you gave me the gift of love eternal and for that I am so thankful. Always and forever.

Today marks the day that the world became a better place because you were born. Our time was not long enough but even 100 years would have been too short. I love you with all my heart, Bud. Happy birthday!
