Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Clyde Ray Harrison

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 50th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

You were and still are a true hero to all of us. My mother has told me and my siblings of all the couragous things you accomplished in your, too short, life. Mother still keeps the newspaper clippings of all the stories that was published in the local newspapers. These stories have give us a small piece of who you were. Dogpatch was changed so much because of you. You will forever live strong in the stories that our children will hear about you, from my mother and myself. With all my love, respect, and honor,
Your loving granddaughter,
Sheila Woodell
