Reflections for Police Officer Howard Bee Hammond

Officer Howard Bee Hammond was Boswell Bee Hammond's (1846–1916) grandson. Howard's father, Herman Luther (1886–1926), Boswell's seventh son, moved west from Georgia to Texas where he married Howard's mother, Alberta Pruitt (1890-1961) in Gregg County, TX, on 14 August, 1910. Just as Boswell's eldest son, Marshal James "Jim" Washington, (1869-1907) was killed on duty, so was his youngest grandson, Howard.

Rest In Peace, Sir.

John Michael Hammond
1st cousin to Officer Howard Bee Hammond.
