I remember when Officer Ganz was killed. It was the most horrific event in our city. I want to offer my condolences to his family, and although I did not know him personally, I was touched by his service to our city. Officer Ganz was a wonderful man, we all miss him terribly.....

I was in high school when Off. Ganz was killed, and my best friend and I were deeply impacted at his death- Off. Ganz was her DARE instructor. From her stories of him, I feel like I missed out on meeting a womderful human being! I am so SO thankful that his killer was caught and that he will never have the chance to do this again. Off. Ganz, May the Lord Bless you and keep you. May the Lord show you His face and have mercy on you. You are in our prayers.

Officer Ganz and I were study partners in the D.A.R.E. program in 1991. We spent a good amount of time together in that two weeks and discussed alot of things. His memory goes to work with me every day. By reading the ODMP today, 04-19-01, I learned of the arrest and conviction of his assailant. Thank you.

Martin and I were academy classmates (LASO ACADEMY CLASS 255). I worked for a neigboring city and we remained friends after graduation. It was a shock to learn of his death. Even now, years later, I still find it difficult to accept what happened. It was a relief when his killer was captured. May Martin's family know that he is not forgotten by this officer nor will he ever be forgotten....Rest in peace Marty...Cya, love ya, bye! (for now)
