My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

To my Pop-pop, I never had the honor of meeting you, but my father George Nicholas Jr. keeps your memories alive with wonderful stories of you when he was young. He was only nine when you touched the face of God but you live on in my dad and your grandchildren(you also have a great grandson George Nicholas). Rest well my beloved grandfather and know your family is forever proud of you.
God love you and keep you in his eternal embrace with Nanny. Love your grandchildren georgette and bob, bobby george, alayna, alycia, and kelsey
P.S. My grandfather was killed responding to a call. He was hit by a car on his motorcycle.
