Reflections for Officer James Richard Greene

Hi Jimmy ...

I remember the Detective that was following up on your case calling me here in North Carolina a year or two ago to see if we could open up one of our old cases. He thought it might be connected to yours somehow and it involved a case from New York too. I don't remember if our information helped him out any, but I was glad to find out that he was able to get the guy that took your life and that the bad guy was convicted of your murder. I didn't know you personally. I was only one year old when you died. But any officer's death saddens me. I'm sure you were a great guy. Maybe now you can rest in peace. God bless those that knew you, those that you worked with, those that continue to work to keep Atlanta safe, and the family that you left behind.

To officer Green and family:
I read today that your murder has finally been solved. Thank you for protecting and serving at a time when it was not at all popular.
