It's Now been 25 years since Evelyn has passed away. I think of her everyday as I look at her picture hanging on my wall. I think only hours before her death I shared lunch , conversation and smiles with her. I can still see in my minds eye the orange blouse and black slacks that she worn that day just before Halloween. She will always be in my fondest memories of life. After 25 years , the last hour I spent with her are still fresh in my mind........

It's now been 24 years since Evelyn was taken away from this world and from all those that knew and loved her. She is in my thoughts virtually everyday of the year. I often recall having lunch with her about 14 hours before she died. I have only beautiful memories of the times that were shared with her. No more need be said except, I miss her smile, her voice, and the kindness she brought to this world.

Dear Evelyn,
We were childhood friends who lost touch with one another many years ago. I didn't learn of your death until 2007, when I attended our 30th high school reunion. I woke up this morning thinking of and praying for you and your family. Here's wishing you a Merry Christmas and assuring you that even your childhood friends remember your delightful spirit!

Another year has gone by since Evelyn was taken away from this world and from those who knew and loved her!!! It's been 22 years now since that dreadful night. I remember that only hours before she passed away, we were having lunch together, that was the last time I saw her beautiful face and heard her sweet voice. Life goes on for the rest of us, and we still have our memories of her which cannot be taken away from those who loved her. I see her everyday in a picture that hangs on my wall. Her memory lives on forever !!!!!

Well another year has gone by, now it's 21 years since we had lunch together and we said good bye. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see you alive. I have your picture just to my right as I type this reflection. You are always thought about and missed.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 21st anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I hold your family in my heart's embrace and pray for their solace as I know that both the pain and pride are forever.

It was 20 years ago today that Evelyn was taken from us. I woke up this morning and reflected on the events that transpired the morning of her death. A tragic day I will never forget. As the years have past, I see her picture taken in her uniform with the American flag in the background. I see her beautiful face and awesome smile. She will always be in the hearts and minds of all of us who knew her and loved her.

Today is 20 years that I lost you little sister and I miss you and I think about you every day. I love you and I know that you would've grown old gracefully but you will be for ever young and beautiful in our minds. How I miss all of those years that we were robbed of your presence and of your laughter and of your sense of humor but they can't rob me of my memories.
Rest in peace Eve I love you very much

It's hard to believe that it has been 19 years since Evelyn died, she was one of my closest friends. I had lunch with her about 12 hours before she was killed. I will never forget she was wearing an orange top and black colored slacks on that day, day before Halloween. I look at her picture everyday, as it is displayed in one of my rooms. May she continue to rest in piece, I will always miss her.
