A lot of respect for a brother officer who dies in the line of duty. I certainly remember hearing about that burglary and Sgt. Grabeck's death. He will always be remembered.

Dear Uncle Benny,

I remember you as a person of wonderful good humor. Your service in World War I was that of a hero as was your service to the New Britain Police Department. I am proud to be a family member.

On tody, the 55th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of New Britain. It took almost 8 more years, but your murderer finally got the justice he deserved.
