Thank you God for giving me a Mom and Dad that taught me to live my life righteous and true.
Your actions spoke larger than life and what a great testimony that was.
I love you dad and thank you for what I am today.
I shall see you again when it is time for me to leave this earth for my real home with Jesus in heaven.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 42nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

Dad,
There is not a day that goes by that we do not miss you. Your grandchildren are now old enough to understand how dedicated you were as a Police Officer. I try to instill in them, the beliefs and values that you carried so easily even though at the time they were not popular. Derek and Kyle love you very much!

I never met my grandfather, but I know from everyone that knew him that he was a hard-working man who loved his family and did everything he could to help others regardless of their race or reputation. He loved to take my mom and her siblings hiking, fishing, and anywhere fun during the time he had between his two jobs. He tried very hard to instill his positive values in his children and even though he's passed on, stories of his memory helped to instill those values in me. Namaste, Grandpa.
