Officer Gendron, it has been 121 years since you were taken from us. New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your law enforcement service.

He gave his life serving and protecting. He answered the call, placing his duty above all and made the ultimate sacrifice. He suffered in death and left us a life to live and honor him. His family lost a great husband and father. I am so grateful for his sacrifice and legacy. I will always cherish his memory and look forward to being united with him. It is an honor to know that John B. Gendron is my paternal great grandfather. May God bless his memory and his sacrifice, may we honor his legacy and his service and forever remember him. Thank you great-grandfather. Your great-grandson, love Paul

I miss you Great Grandpa. My dad always told me stories about you. My favorite one was the story of when you were at the gun range. Your always on my mind and I'm proud to say that your my great grandfather. Although life is short , your legacy will live on for generations of the Gendron Family. Thank you for all that you've done. I will wait for the day when I can see you again. Until the time comes , I will make you proud. Rest in peace, great grandpa.

112 years ago today you lost your life at the hands of a cowardly thug whose identity and fate are unknown. We can all only hope he faced true justice if not in this world, then in the next.

God Bless and I pray you are Resting eternally in Peace, Brother.
