While looking for my ex-partner George Freemans obituary on line I came across this brave fellow officer's story. He looks like a nice man. May he rest in peace.
George, born in the deep South to African/American farmers, was one of the nicest gentlemen I ever met. We served together for five years in uniform, late 1970's-83 in Utica, N.Y. I now reside near Gettysburg, PA. God Bless.
P.S. Was George T. in WWII U.S. Navy? I remember a lot of them that became post-war law enforcement tilted their uniform hats to the side like him.

I am privileged to pay tribute to you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 65th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I hope that your granddaughter has found some answers in her quest for knowledge about you.

Rest In Peace

Hello everyone, my name is Dimitris freeman. I hope you all can help me. We have been searching tiredlessly trying to find out any information possible about what happen to my grandfather. My mother name is Georgia freeman, she would have been seven years old at the time of his death. All she knows is that he never came to get her from the babysitter one day and that same sitter raised her. I hope someone, anyone responds to this with any type of information. My mother was being raised by her father only at the time and did not know were her mother was either. We all have the same eyes and my mom is his complexion, and she has the same brows. My mom resides in GA and I in MN but my oldest brother Julius Freeman lives there with his wife Lisa Woods-Freeman who is a fellow pre-trial officer for cook county. Please someone contact me. we have been trying to get closure for ever.
