Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninety-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

Special Agent Frans, on this 88th anniversary of your brutal murder I wish to thank you for being a hero and working hard for the benefit of all Americans in your duties. Many people view the moonshiner as a hard working throwback to simpler times when in fact, many who produced that stuff produced poison that was capable of causing blindness, brain damage and death. With no regulations, they could manufacture their product with any material at hand. You gave your life in order to potentially save the lives of others. You have not been forgotten.

I only hope, that though not caught by the law enforcement community, your killer faced true justice, if not in this life, then in the next.

May you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother and God Bless you.
