Your heroism and service is honored today, the 128th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. No officer who dies in the line of duty should be without reflections to his memory. I am honored to be the first to write for you. Your community should be in your debt forever. I now live in McLean County and I thank you for all you did. Rest in peace sir.
