My grandfather, Maj. Eric M. Knight died on that plane with Percy Foxworth. I accompanied Judith Woodard to the crash site in the jungles of Suriname. To this day, details of the crash and still classified. No official cause of the crash has been determined, other than rumors at the time that there was a bomb on board. See my website:

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 69th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I was at the crash site in Suriname last year. Very peaceful and beautiful. I raised an American 48 star flag and prayed for all the 35 aboard that flight who died there. My father was the captain of the plane. Thank you for your service.
