Reflections for Officer William C. Foote

Speaking with Angels in the Sky - Thank you Sir for your service and most importantly being my brothers brother’s keeper - I’m no Marine,I’m nobody special but my uncle “Eddie” Edwards was special to us and you obviously to him. We visited your site together recently before his passing just the other day. Sincerely, James C

Bill, by now you have your beautiful wife Audrey at your side resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Am going to miss her terribly, but happy she is at peace and didn't have to suffer long. She's been a wonderful neighbor and am happy that we crossed paths, who would've know when we moved here that we would become so close in sharing our lives as spouses of Law Enforcement Officer's who were killed in the line of duty. Your daughter Dee is a beautiful lady and is blessed with a beautiful family. Met your grandsons Mike and Chris, you would be so proud of them as they served and Mike continues to serve in the Marines following in your footsteps. I can see your face smiling and with open arms welcoming your beautiful bride home. Say hello to my husband C/O Francisco Garza EOW 5/31/99 for me, Till we meet, may you rest in peace. You are not forgotten and your family will continue to be in my prayers.

Praying for your beautiful wife Audrey, that Our Heavenly Father will wrap his loving arms around her guiding her to her resting place in your arms again. I've had the pleasure of having her as my neighbor for 18yrs and we've shared many stories of you and my Frank. Thank you for your sacrifice in serving both in the Marines and as a CHP.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 57th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was also a fellow Marine, thus I must say Semper Fi.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Officer Foote,

I noted your watch ended the day I was born. My only aspiration in life was to be a peace officer which I have done so as honorably as I could for 35 years. Your end of time on this earth was my beginning. I hope as we all gather on judgement day you will be the one to welcome me home.

Keep your knees in the breez motor man.
Thank you for your service. You should be proud of your grandsons. The men serving this country today are the best in the world. They do multiple deployments and serve in the worlds most dangerious places. They do this without complaining because they beleve it is what you would have done.
