Reflections for Auxiliary Sergeant Denis P. Foley

Sir, 'Thank you 'is not sufficient for what you have done but until the day when a better phrase can be found, inadequate though a simple thank you is, it will have to do do.G-d's Blessings on you and ALL Law Enforcement Officers.

I remember you holding me as a child. I always wanted to be respected and to be strong like you. The day you died part of me died, but the day my son was born that part of me came back to life.

I look forward to you meeting my wife and son in Gods kingdom.

Sincerely,

Thomas A. Foley

P.S.- "Anonymous" you are correct about Nathan !!!

Deputy Foley:

Words can never express this kind of loss. What a waste of the life of a human being, striving to give back and serve his/her own community.

You are still loved and missed by your family. Most of all, you have a wonderful young man, Nathan, as your grandson. He is now a sophomore in high school. You would be so proud of him. He is a remarkable young man. Smart, courageous, respectful, loving....just a wonderful, wonderful young man. You would be so proud of the way your son, Tom and his wife, Denise have and are raising him! If all our young people in the USA were like Nathan what a wonderful and bright future our nation would have!! Be proud of Nathan and smile down on him from Heaven!

He is looking and contemplating his future now as far as colleges and possible majors. Smile down on him and help guide his choices. Also, smile and be proud of him!

It is a shame you were robbed of the right to know Nathan during his and your life on this earth. But in God's eternity, there will come a time when Nathan will be seeking you out!

A beautiful plague in your honor is proudly displayed in Tom, Denise and Nathan's home. Nathan always shows visitors to his home this plaque and the flag you so courageously earned. He just beams with pride while displaying these acts of love for you.

Again, never doubt you are missed and loved on this earth. But one day we will ascend into eternity and have the opportunity to be together. This time it will be forever in that fanstastic, perfet place God has for us in the hereafter. Here there will be no sickess, no cancer, no death and certainly no guns to take the lives of the innocent and the lives of those so courageously serving and protecting the lives and property of their fellow citizens.

Thank you for your service while on this earth. You will never be forgotten!! Please smile down on your own children along with that wonderful young man we call "Nathan".
