Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and remember your sweet smile. It is so hard to believe you have been gone for 13 years. You were so special to me. I miss you and will always keep you close in my heart.

I AM NOW 32 YEARS OLD WITH A FAMILY OF MY OWN, A WIFE AND TWO DAUGHTERS. I CAN STILL REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I MET CHRIS. I WAS RIDING WITH MY PARENTS IN SUMMIT CHASE OFF OF HWY 78 IN SNELLVILLE. A DRUNK DRIVER HIT US HEAD ON IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. I WAS YOUNG, SCARED TO DEATH, CRYING. CHRIS WORKED THE ACCIDENT. HE COMFORTED ME, AND ASSURED I WOULD BE ALRIGHT. AT THE TIME I WANTED TO BE A FIREFIGHTER. AFTER THAT ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIS, I WANTED MORE THAN ANYTHING TO BE A POLICE OFFICER. AFTER YEARS OF TRYING I BECAME AN OFFICER. I STILL REMEMBER HOW CHRIS HELPED ME ON THAT DAY, AND I TRY TO HELP OTHERS AS CHRIS HELPED ME. I DID NOT KNOW HIM ON A PERSONAL LEVEL, BUT HIS EFFECT ON ME WILL LAST A LIFE TIME. THANK YOU CHRIS FOR ALL YOU DID! YOU ARE MISSED......NOT FORGOTTEN.

To Those near and dear to Officer Chris Magill,

Chris's death was news to me when I was looking through the officers' memorials. I remember Chris as a Snellville (GA) Police Officer when I worked part time there while at the same time serving on the Gwinnett County Fire Department.

I remember when Chris had a close call while on the Snellville Department when a mental subject nearly shot him while he was on patrol and stopped the subject for questioning. Then, not long ago I learned of his tragic death by an intoxicated driver. I remember Chris as a dedicated law enforcement officer who loved God, his family and his community. Our loss here is heaven's gain.

My continued prayers go up for all of you.

Chris, You are not forgotten my friend. I recently visited the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC and went to your name on the wall. I could feel your presence while I stood there and remembered all the good times we shared. I can still remember the last time I saw you alive......providing back-up to me after a brief car chase. I never knew you were there until I turned around and saw you. Thank you Chris, I miss you brother.........

Much Love,
Chuck
