Reflections for Federal Prohibition Agent Posie Lester Flinchum

Granddad Posie Lester Flinchum is a hero always. He not only took care of his family but tried to take care of others thru his job as an Agent. I’m so proud of you grandpa and proud to be you grand daughter. I love you grandpa. You was killed years before I was born, but I feel like I know you through my dad, your son John Samuel Flinchum.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 82nd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Special Agent Flinchum, today marks the 78th anniversary of your murder. Your efforts on behalf of the citizens of the United States have not been forgotten, nor has the sacrifice you made. The ATF has never had an easy job yet the Agents get out there every day and do it simply because someone has to. There are a lot of dangerous people out there dealing with the issues your agency is responsible for and if not for you and men and women like you, those dangerous people would be responsible for much more death and destruction than they now are.

I thank God that none of the other Agents in the car were killed and I truly wish you hadn’t been either. Though you left your family bodily that day, I know you never truly left them spiritually.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
