Officer Fenton, was my Uncle. I didn’t know him as well as I would have liked, but I have fond memories of backyard picnics with the whole family around!

Officer Francis Fenton and I had a brief and pleasant conversation, which culminated in him recruiting into the Hartford Police. His End of Watch came while I was on duty, eight months after graduating from the HPD Academy. I offer my condolences to his family and the worldwide brotherhood of law enforcement personnel.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 43rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your daughter and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections. .

Rest In Peace

Officer Fenton,
On today, the 40th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Hartford. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. I also agree with the previous reflections regarding your murderer-it sickens me too that your murderer didn't pay for his crime.

YOU ARE REMEMBERED TODAY AND THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR LONG AND DEDICATED SERVICE, YOU ARE A HERO JUST BY THE PROFESSION YOU CHOSE. THIS WRITER AS ALWAYS, IS DISAPPOINTED THAT JUSTICE WAS NOT SERVED ON YOUR BEHALF.

I hate to say this in a manner that may offend Mrs. Kisluk or other loved ones, but as a native of Ct., and the Hartford area, the sickening results here, are no surprise whatsoever.

My sincere sympathies and prayers to those loved ones and officers who have had to carry on. And my prayers that a murdered officer rests in God's love and peace.

"Thus sayeth The Lord, Vengence is Mine, I will avenge"! No one escapes that true justice. Hopefully, loved ones can take some comfort in that.

My father was killed when I was only 13 years old. Besides myself he left one other daughter and two sons. And of course his loving wife who never got over his death. She was never able to go to the memorial services held each year. It was too much for her. As his children and now with his grandchildren we continue to go to honor his memory.
I will never come to terms with the fact that his killer is now walking the streets, able to breath the air and be with his family, if they want him there.
