Reflections for Police Officer Daniel J. Faulkner

Mrs. Faulkner, your fight to honor your husband shows your courage and committment. Stay strong, and I will be reading your book, I just found out about it. I have seen billboards here in Harrisburg PA. with DANIELFAULKNER.com on it, so everyone can read of this unjustice that has been done. Your husband's and your sacrafice will NEVER be forgotten......

Maureen,
I too have been reading your book. I have cried and felt empathy for you, my sister. I too am a Philadelphia police officers wife, by Gods good graces, he is still with me. What you and Michael have put together is tremendous. I have been following the news about Danny, since day one. I don't know how you do it, but, all I know is, you are a icon for ALL police wives, everywhere. I look up to you with the utmost respect and unconditional love that all polive wives should do. Your finace` Paul did a magnificent job with the web site, you are very lucky and extremely blessed to have a man like him. Stay well, my sister, and may God always grant you the strength to continue to do what is right in your heart; Keep fighting for Danny, Keep the faith, and may we ALL see justice prevail one day, soon.

Much love & respect,
Janie

Dear Maureen,

My husband and I did not know you or Danny. My husband's cousin is Patricia (Gallagher) Faulkner. I am now reading your book and it breaks my heart. As all I can think about is how horriable it was and is still for you. I know what you are going through even now. Justice will be served.....
We are also good freinds of Officer Chuck Cassidy.........
You did a great job on your book!!!!!

dear maureen,
i have just read your book "murdered by mumia"which was given to me by a friend who knew i have been interested in the case of danny...i have written several letters to the editor of my local newspaper in allentown,pa. regarding danny faulkner and so far ,even though i am not a "writer" to my surprise they have all been printed!
i am not from the united states originally but have been living here for the past 18 years.
as the granddaughter of a homocide detective and ex wife of a police officer i will continue to make people aware of the brutal murder of your husband and will start going to events as they take place near my home.im hoping the motorcycle rides honoring fallen policeofficers still take place in philadelphia,we will be there!!!!
i hope that one day you can find some kind of peace for yourself, your family and most important for danny!

Dear Maureen,
Although I was only 9 when Mumia Abu-Jamal took your husband's life, his murder left a mark on me. It was because of this that I wanted to become a police officer. You will always be remembered in my prayers and please know that your husband did not die in vain. His loss inspired someone to keep on in his memory and fight the good fight. He will always be remembered.

Danny,
26 years later, people are still fighting for you in more ways than one. I attended a book signing for Maureen's new book and was glad to see a packed house, and I mean a packed house. We will not rest until justice is served for you and your family.

Daniel,
You will always be remembered by police officers everywhere, for your bravery, for who you were and who you should have become. It looks like you joined the same era as I did and you should have grown old and retired.
Whats happening with this lowlife that so cowardly took your life and the misguided people trying to free him is incomprehensible.

Your Loss is still being felt everyday, and your memory will always endure. As long as we do not allow the Ultra Liberal Left to win their efforts to allow the release of the murderer Mumia Abu Jamal. It is justice for this murderer remains behind bars, until the jurys wishes are carried out. The vigil will continue until the work of the jury is carried out and and Mumia life is extinguished.

To the Faulkner Family ,
I send you my deepest sympathy for your loss. I have often heard of the murderer but today was the first I saw of the officers family. It is a shame that so much attention can be given to a killer , and so little to a patriot. God Bless. Daniel has my deepest respect.

Mrs. Faulkner,

Your husband is not forgotten. I am disgusted that anyone would support the person that murdered your husband. Anyone that does is so misguided and has a warped view of the world and what is right. As a wife of an officer who was murdered, I can only imagine how infuriating it would be to have people supporting the one that took my husband from my life.

I'll be thinking of you during this holiday season. Your husband is a true hero.

Officer Faulkner,
You done good, very damned good. After the cowardly swine shot you from behind, you fought back and never gave up. Because of what you did, "he" will never hurt another innocent citizen or LEO. Everything he did in his low life was wrong, and he finally came up against a brave, tough officer who refused to let him escape. We all live safer because of guys like you. God Speed-Paul.

Officer Faulkner,
This world can certainly be called sick and twisted when people line up to support a low-life cop killer like Wesley Cook. It disgusts me and millions like me. Mr. Cook's just punishment can only come after his life on this earth ends. In the meantime, you continue to be an inspiration to law enforcement officers all over the world, and your memory will continue to carry on. May you rest in peace, and may you continue to experience the rewards reserved for those who make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom and justice. Take care, brother.

There will always be your LE family that will stand up for what is right, even when the corporations, colleges and politicians stand up for your killer. We will never forget and will never stop the pursuit of justice. You have inspired ME, I never miss an opportunity to educate someone on your tragic story, and then tell them how to not support your killer. Rest easy sir, and thank you.

OFFICER FAULKNER,

I'M ALWAYS DISGUSTED WHEN I SEE AN ARTICLE, THAT A LOW LIFE COP KILLER IS A VICTIM. JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED ONE DAY. I REMEMBER READING AN ARTICLE, WHEN I FIRST BECAME A POLICE OFFICER, THAT BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM SUPPORTED THIS LOW LIFE. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS POSSIBLE. IT BOTHERED ME SO MUCH, I TOLD MY FATHER OF THIS INJUSTICE. THE NEXT DAY MY MOTHER CALLED ME AND ASKED ABOUT THE CONVERSATION THAT MY FATHER AND I HAD THE NIGHT BEFORE. WHEN I ASKED HER WHY, SHE TOLD ME MY FATHER HAD THROWN AWAY THE BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM, IN THEIR FREEZER. HE LATER TOLD HER THAT HE WOULD NEVER EAT BEN & JERRY'S ICE CREAM AGAIN. SO YOU SEE OFFICER FAULKNER, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE GONE YOUR POLICE FAMILY WILL STILL FIGHT TILL THE END. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL.

Mrs. Faulkner,
This latest news story continues to sicken me. I wrote you about 8 years ago and I have not forgotten your husband's contribution to society and the sacrifice he made. May God bless you and your family during this holiday season, and always!
