Your heroism and service is honored today, the 43rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Thank you for your service not only to your State, but to your Country as well. You survived through what had to be trying times as a service man in WWII, only to have your life tragically taken while assisting those in need. Rest easy sir, you will not be forgotten.
