I remember my mother telling me the story of how uncle Frank died. He was her brother and she spoke highly of him. He died two years and one day before I was born. My sister remembers my dad coming home to tell my mother of uncle Franks passing, it was a sad time I'm sure. I saw his name at the bridge on Wayne Memorial just the other day. I was proud. All but one of the Faircloth brothers and sisters have passed away now but I know they were proud of their brother and his service to our community.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 49th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace
