Uncle Billy, I should have done this a long time ago. For those that are looking back this far, thank you for never forgetting the one's before.

I was only 9 when we got the news, I guess I really didn't understand then.

You were the cool uncle who let me play in the cruiser. I will never forget the lights and siren, nor will I forget the "snow chair" you made me one year. You were the first thing I thought of my first code run when I was cut loose. It's now going on 11 years since we lost you, and I know you're always there looking over my shoulder. Thank you for the inspiration and the protection of me and all the rest of our brothers and sisters. I know when the unfortunate does happen; you are there waiting at heaven's gate to expedite role call, and making sure badges and shoes are shined.
You will never be forgotten.

I am a Pennsylvania State Trooper. A soldier of the law. To me is entrusted the honor of the force. I must serve honestly, faithfully, and if need be, lay down my life as others have done before me, rather than swerve from the path of duty. It is my duty to obey the law and to enforce it without any consideration of class, color, creed, or condition. It is also my duty to be of service to anyone who may be in danger or distress, and at all times so conduct myself that the honor of the force may be upheld.

My brother, your memory goes on with the fellow Troopers who recite and live these words.
