Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Investigator Robert Richard Evans

How heart warming it was to find this page and to see that total strangers remembered and honored my Uncle Bob, my grandmother's oldest brother. Growing up I heard so many stories from my great-aunt about her "big brother". In her eyes, he was indeed a hero for far more reasons than the tragedy and particulars of his untimely death. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to write on his wall.

Your heroism and service is honored today on the seventy-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Your death occured near my hometown. Rest In Peace.
