Reflections for Patrolman Honore "Henri" Dutremble

Officer Dutremble, it has been 92 years since you were taken from us. Northern New England law enforcement has continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices that you and too many others have made for us. Thank you for your service.

There is not a day that you are not thought of. My mom ( your daughter) spoke of you so often and so well that it was as if I knew you. Really wish I got to meet you. You obviously instilled great morals and value into the family and I hope you look upon us with pride. RIP

As the first born grandchild of this man, no words can express how much I missed and needed my Grandfather.
I never got to know him, but his picture and revolver were always there to remind me of what might've been. R.I.P.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

In the 73 years since you were taken, the Biddeford Police has obviously seen some changes and it's safe to say everyone you worked with is now gone. However, your memory lives on thanks in part to this wonderful Memorial Webpage but also in the hearts and minds of every cop still working there.

God Bless and Rest in Peace Officer Dutremble.
