Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

Today you are remembered for the life you lived and the sacrifice you made. For any of your family members who may still be alive, my thoughts are with you also as you too have sacrificed much.

On May 10, I will ride in your honor of you and in support of your survivors. It is the least that I can do for the sacrifice you made in keeping Somerville, MA safe so that my family could live on.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 65th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
