Pvt. Ditkosky,
On today, the 66th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a LEO but for our Country as well when you served in the USN during WW II. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 63rd anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

60 years later you are still not forgotten by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. You did a job well done.

I clicked on your link because I am from PA also. (Lancaster, which is not far from Harrisburg). You passed away 10 years before I was born and 35 years before I became a policeman, but we are still brothers and share the same beliefs generations apart.
May you and your family rest in peace sir. Your service and passing were truly heroic.
