Reflections for Patrolman Angelo DiMuro

Samuel along with always my favorite lap to sit in " always " as a child growing up....., And always my favorite laugh, ... he always had us giggling as kids when Daddy, Trooper John W. Harris was stationed in Ozona, Texas

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 69th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

Officer DiMuro, thanks for your service and your sacrifice in defense of the people of New York City. You honored Italy, the country of your ancestors.

Officer DiMuro passed 31 years before I was born. I never had the honor to meet him, nor hear any words for him. Reading the messages filled a kind of void I did not know was there. I feel honor and respect all those who protect and serve and real pride to the NYPD. Thank you all for what you do. God bless those who are here and who have passed.

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman DiMuro and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

As a fellow New Yorker who is also of Italian heritage...I am honored to be one of the first to leave a reflection for you after all these years.

This ODMP site has made it possible to go back in time to honor others who were lost so many years ago...that also deserve the honor of being respected and remembered for their dedication in performance of their duty.

For having made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving your community I pray that God's perpetual light will continue to shine upon the soul of Partrolman Angelo DiMuro and that he and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in His eternal peace. Amen

With my deepest sympathy to this officer's family who may eventually learn of this site...God bless all of you.
