Reflections for Reserve Police Officer Jerry J. Crocker

Brother Crocker,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue

Today I was reading the "Today in History" portion of the ODMP and came across the memorials for Officers Jerry Crocker and Terry Lewis. I did not know either of these officers personally but it makes no difference. We shared the badge.
I recall the day the news broke at our station. This was such a tragic loss. It is my prayer that the family, children, friends and co-workers of these two fine officers will continue to experience the eternal love and endless blessings of our Lord and Savior.
May God keep safe from harm the men and women of the Arlington Police Department.
In closing I would like to say, "Thanks" to the ODMP for their hard work and dedication to keep the memories of these officers alive in our hearts. God bless you.

Officer Crocker,
On today, the 13th anniversary of the death of you and your partner, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country. I really don't think 5 years was enough for a drunk driver who killed 2 police officers.

Officer Crocker, You are still very much alive today sir...I have had the great pleasure of talking with Jeri Lyn. We have a common bond. I lost my father at a young age. I can see that jeri Lyn and the rest of your family are very strong people. The pain that they have endured has been transfered into energy to keep moving with your spirit very much alive. I know that Jeri Lyn and I have the very same thoughts about our fathers and that is.....we certainly wish that you were here with us....it just cannot be though.

God Bless your soul,,,I hope that you are in rest knowing that your family is o.k. and they miss you every day.

*P.S. tell my dad, the late Matt Crisafulli, that I was asking for him up there.

Sincerely,

Matt Crisafulli

I was very touched by the reflections that were left by Jeri. I lost my father at a young age, he was also killed in a traffic crash. Jeri, your father will live forever. I know that he made such a wonderful impact on his family and friends during his time here. God Bless you and your entire family. If I can ever be of assistance to you, please contact me.

It saddens me to see that this is the first time I have found this web page. I went to school with Jeri and your loss has affected all around her. After being an officer now for a couple of years I see how family is so important. I am deeply sorry for your families loss and forever you and yours will be in our hearts and prayers.
