Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Lieutenant James F. Day

Amazing, 43 years of service, 71 years old and not only still protecting and serving, but put up the fight that he did. To Lieutenant Day, your great granddaughter who left the previous reflection and your entire family, always know that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren. Rest in peace always.

Thus seamed with many scars,
Bursting these prison bars,
Up to its native stars
My soul ascended

There from the flowing bowl
Deep drinks the warrior's soul,
Skoal! to the Northland! skoal!
Thus the tale ended.

No officer should be without a reflection, especially not one who dedicated over 40 years to his department. Thank you for your service. You are not forgotten.
