Your heroism and service is honored today, the 54th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. I was saddened and appalled by the denial of the full measure of justice for you, your family and department.

Rest In Peace

Marshal Davis, thank you for your service. It is hard to believe that any decent human being would knowing let a convicted murder walk free --- especially after a mere 12 years! Justice was not served!!

May you rest in peace.

I was in the second grade when my grandfather was murdered. It was a horrible time in our lives and has scarred our family - I will tell you that it is very sad that the man that did this horrible deed is out and only after 12 years. My grandmother died in a car accident 4 years later because she had to work to support herself after this ordeal. I thank you too Grandpa for helping to protect the people in Adams County - you and your fellow officers are to be commended for your sacrifices!!

What a terrible travesty of justice. The murdered only had to serve a mere 12 years for chasing you down like an animal and shooting you in the head. I salute you, Sir, for your bravery, dedication and sacrifice. You were brutally murdered on the very day I was born. May your friends and family take comfort in knowing that you will FOREVER be a hero and even after 51 years, you will NEVER be FORGOTTEN. What a travesty of justice that your murderer was released after only 12 years. You died on the very day I was born. I also became a police officer. Thank you for your sacrifice; you are a hero and will NEVER be forgotten!

Marshal Davis,
On today, the 50th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Lind. It boggles my mind, how your murderer could only have served 12 years instead receiving that he so richly deserved.
