Police Officer Ernest Ralph Dark, I would like to say that I look at all Police Officers as heroes and the barrier that protects civilians from harm. I look up to Police Officers and whenever I go onto this page and see another officers name on here I am deeply saddened that the Officer paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the safety of others. Sir you are a hero as all other officers that gave their life to ensure that people that could not protect themselves were safe I would like to end by saying that you will not be forgotten and thank you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 69th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
